We won Best Contractor in Durham County and Orange/Chatham County for 2019! We have won Durham for the first time, won back-to-back titles in Orange/Chatham and have won 3 of the last 4 years! Thank you to all and any who voted!


We won BEST CONTRACTOR in Orange/Chatham County in the 2018 INDY Best of the Triangle Awards.  We have won the award for the 2nd time in 3 years, and we are grateful for all who voted!


We ran an ad in the INDY June Best of the Triangle Issue thanking our voters for bestowing such a high honor.

We won “Best Kitchen Over $80,001” at the 2017 HBA ROC Awards show for our kitchen addition project on Gimghoul Rd in Chapel Hill.  We have won the award back to back years.

D1Well, we didn’t win and defend our title this year, but we were TOP 4 FINALISTS for BEST CONTRACTOR IN DURHAM COUNTY AND ORANGE/CHATHAM COUNTY for 2017.  We thank our many voters who got us there, and we vow to return to compete for another title in 2018, hopefully in both categories again.

Actual Size Builders was hired by a client to build two curved garden benches, 12- and eight-feet long, using ipĂ©, a South American hardwood.
